Freshdirect Recalls Pistachio Products Because Of Possible Health Risk (April 10)

Following the recently expanded recall of Setton Pistachio products, FreshDirect of Long Island City, NY is voluntarily recalling all FreshDirect Salted and Unsalted Pistachios sold by FreshDirect on or after November 11, 2008. FreshDirect's pistachio supplier sources from multiple California pistachio growers. From November 11, 2008 until recently, our supplier sourced a portion of its pistachios from Setton Pistachio in California, which have been recalled by Setton as they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.
