   GNC sold me a deadly product (Hydroxycut Hardcore) 1 year ago. It is a 210 Capsule bottle ticketed at $99.99. I called 1-888-462-2548 : 1 For English : 5 For Customer Service. They told me that when I give them what they sold me, I will get a percentage of the price in store credit. I recently dealt with recalls on the "Peanut Butter crisis" and this is not how it was operated.

Question 1:

When the FDA does a recall, isn't it supposed to be a 100% refund, no questions asked?

Question 2:

Is a company allowed to use a recall to force "different" products into people's bodies instead of the deadly original?

*A receipt was is not included, as it was 1 year ago, and god only knows where it is.
I just answered my own question with some research. If GNC tries to give you a minimal refund for this deadly product instead of doing the right thing, (receipt or no receipt) call 1-201-493-1027 and ask this FDA supervisor to help you. This will get you 100% of what you spent.
