Open Question: Do you consider a person to be a criminal soley because the govt has labelled them as such?22 July 2011, 4:19 amAm I the only one who thinks that drug addiction was created by our government to make ungodly amounts of money from? Rather than reaching out with a helping hand to thy neighbor. They arrest, convict, fine and sentence thy neighbor and label him a criminal for all of society to condemn. Which in turn gives the power and the money to doctors and the healthcare industry. Its ok for doctors to prescribe you drugs that have more risk factors than street drugs because they are taxed for it. And the government created a whole new branch to regulate these drugs so they are safe for us. But reality is, these drugs kill more than street drugs. How many drugs gotta get recalled that were "regulated" by the FDA that have killed and deformed people, and countless other negative effects before people stop looking at the picture our govt paints for us and see it for what it really is? Are we the people ever going to become united and stand together or keep dividing as we fall so the govt can shame us and make money off of us? Lemmie ask you this...would you rather be high or low? If you were feeling low, how would you correct it? How do doctors correct it? Is there a law saying doctors HAVE to help those who need it? So people who try to correct their problems on their own are criminals? Nobody cares that we have a problem, especially if our govt deems us criminals for trying to correct it ourselves. What about those of us who tried to get help through doctors and ended up feeling lower because of it? Seriously, if somebody tries or experiments with drugs, its because their reality is messed up to begin with. The people who are problem free or atleast have support when problems do arise dont seek out drugs. Their world is already perfect. Those of us who ARE problems see this perfect world and feel we deserve it too. Do we not deserve it? If so why? cuz we had shitty parents? A person who drives without a license is a criminal? A person who doesnt transfer the car title within 15 days is a criminal? Are you a criminal as soon as you are arrested? Or only after they have been convicted by a court of law? Do you treat everyone who has been arrested as a criminal? or do they have to "act like criminal". Is it criminal to self medicate if you've tried every avenue available to you prior to your decision just because the govt says its a crime? Would you not do everything within your power to help yourself when nobody else will? Why are drug addicts treated as criminals when its painfully obvious that the "high" we seek is to counteract the "low" we feel. Is it not what we have learned to do? For every action, there is an equal opposite reaction. Of course we try to counteract our low feeling by substituting it with a high. I dont think anybody who feels good without altering their state of mind would have a reason to try drugs. Which is why its so easy for them to condemn. We think we have every right to feel good too!! We just havent the same opportunities or support as as the people who feel good naturally. Why is it ok to alter your mind with alcohol but not ok with drugs? Why is our health and happiness put in the hands of the healthcare industry? Why can doctors alter our state of mind based on mere guesses? Ever thought of how much money the govt makes off peoples shortcomings and misfortune? Ever wonder separates criminals from citizens? I can tell you what made me a criminal. It was becoming aware of the corruption of law enforcement and our justice system first hand. My step dad was the sheriff of our county, and I was raised to respect the law and did so until it gave me reason not to. Its hard to respect something that treats you as substandard. I am a criminal because I lost faith in the healthcare industry when the ER sent me home with pneumonia and left me to die despite my begging. What shouldbe been a couple days on oxygen and antibiotics turned into a collapsed lung, coma, 2 lung surgeries, heart problems for rest of my life from being en;larged and displaced due to the fluid in my chest, and chronic edema from heart problems, etc. I still tried to seek health thru doctors up until a couple months ago. All i got was treated like a hypochondriac, and have been denied further healthcare due to my emotional message which was my reaction to once again receiving less than standard treatment. Thats what separates me from being treated as a citizen. And society blindly accepts our govt's labelling and provides me with fn abundance of further judgement. Belittling me further. That is what makes me a criminal.
