Open Question: why are psycadelics truly illegal?27 October 2010, 11:09 amConsidering that the FDA has repeatedly approved drugs that are harmful, both mentally and physically, why are psychedelics illegal? Paxil, Prozac and other psychotic medicines are repeatedly recalled, my mother once "tripped" on paxil and threw my cat over the fence because she thought it was a demon. I doubt there is many chronic symptoms of psychedelic use, with exception to LSD. But why are drugs like mushrooms and marijuana outlawed, there plants, they just grow that way.
