Resolved Question: Baby Orajel Recall! Moms, Read!?

There was a recall on baby orajel that has Benzocaine in it. It has caused babies under age 2 to have a condition that reduces the amount of oxygen carried through the blood stream which can be fatal. Crazy thing is, I just gave some to my son last night for the first time in awhile, and then saw that on the news this morning. Even if they have used it before and turned out fine, they can still get it after any use. So don't use it! You'd think you'd be able to trust things that are made specifically for babies. Here is a link with more info about it. http://www.pediatricsafety.net/2011/04/fda-warns-of-health-threat-from-using-benzocaine/ @ Amanda: My son also uses Similac, but didn't get too bad sick. And the sad thing about recalls is that they hapen after a baby has already been harmed or killed.
