How many owners would be made aware of this issue before they feed the contaminated food to their dogs and what can be done to better inform the public of such issues? Anyways, I haven't seen this very well publicized, I just happened to look over this weeks Veterinary Information Network newsletter and barely noticed it at the bottom of the email.

Most times people try to get me to switch, I tell them about a rescue I had to contracted HGE as a result of e-coli/salmonella poisoning. I know there are a ton of raw feeders here and wanted to get input on recalls in general since I highly doubt the general public checks recall lists on a daily basis. Pixie; you left out that you feed your dog good ol gamma irradiated crap food... ;)
